Conference Format
The MOP 2024 conference will take place in-person from July 8-12th 2024 on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus. Virtual participation will not be supported.

Venue
This year's meeting will be held in John T. Tate Hall at 116 Church Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455. The sessions will be in Tate B50, and the poster sessions are in the foyer outside of that room.
Hotels and restaurants close to campus are listed below. The University of Minnesota is located very close to the Minneapolis downtown and has plenty of hotels and restaurants in the area.
Ice Breaker and Banquet
Preceding the conference on Sunday, July 7th at 5-7pm, there will be an ice breaker session, where you can pick up your badges. This will be held at the Campus Club inside Coffman Student Union (4th floor).
There will additionally be a banquet on Thursday, July 11th at 6:30pm in the Weisman Art Museum, which must be registered for during the main conference registration.

Travel
Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) serves the Twin Cities.
Nonstop flights operate to and from most major U.S. and Canadian cities, London LHR, Paris CDG, Amsterdam AMS, Dublin DUB, Frankfurt FRA, Tokyo HND, Seoul ICN.

Although we recommend the other transportation options on the above website, paid parking is available near the conference venue at the Church Street Garage or the Washington Avenue Ramp (see this page for details).

A limited number of single-person rooms in Centennial Hall (Student Housing) will be available at a rate of $50/day. This is open to all, but priority will be given to graduate students. If interested, email Greg Bocko at gbocko@umn.edu.
